Welcome to Lyracoons Maine Coons

My name is Tracey, I am a small GCCF registered hobby breeder of Maine Coons in the West Country between Bristol and Taunton.

In 2016 I became owned by my first Maine Coon Rutterkin Wilbury.

His breeder Helen suggeested showing him. We both fell in love with it. He was followed a year later by his half brother Rutterkin Simply Red aka Harrison.

As my love of the breed grew I began to think about breeding.

In 2018 I obtained my prefix from the GCCF and in 2022 the first Lyracoons litter was born.

The breeding cats are all negative by parent for the genetic diseases PKD,PKDF,HCM, SMA.
